Learning NAGPRA Research Initiatives: 

  • Conducting interviews with educators, students, and repatriation professionals
  • Sending online surveys to students and faculty in anthropology- and museum studies-related programs
  • Requesting and analyzing course syllabi
  • Textual analysis of textbooks from anthropology and museum studies courses
  • Conducting a comparative NAGPRA teaching study at 5 universities and colleges around the U.S.
